Vincent began their training at the Centre for Advanced Training for Contemporary Dance, Bilborough College and The National Youth Theatre, which lead them to study at Rose Bruford School of Theatre and Performance, London, on the BA (hons) European Theatre Arts programme: An intensive vocational training programme that blends physical performer training with contemporary approaches to performance from a European perspective, encompassing a range of movement and performance disciplines. The course allowed Vincent the opportunity to study abroad, so in early 2017 Vincent attended the Czech Schools HAMU and DAMU in Prague, training further in movement, Dance and Acting for 6 months.
After the struggle of deciding not to attend Dance school, Vincent committed to managing & sustaining a personalised dance practice by utilising the course at Rose Bruford to extend and approach movement/dance from a new perspective. Vincent's further training consists of working with nationally & internationally recognised artists and companies such as Roser López-Espinosa (Physical Dance); Noa Paran & Natalia Iwaniec (GAGA/Improvisation); Nuria Legarda (Butoh); Lost Dog Dance (Dance Theatre); Temper Theatre (Physical/dance Theatre); Farm In The Cave (Dance Theatre).
Vincent utilised their training at Rose Bruford and went on to choreograph the production of ‘Who Deserves Greatness’ a devised final year show Directed by Nuria Legarda, December 2017. This was followed by Movement Directing a cast of 38 in ‘Come To Daddy’ directed by Sammy Metcalfe (Sleepwalk Collective) February 2018. During Vincent final year of Rose Bruford he founded/lead/facilitated the Contact Improvisation Society.
Since Graduating Vincent found themselves entering the nightlife and cabaret scene as well as working in theatre - this has led to them pursuing new queer adventures, discovering themselves as an individual and their gender identity with new aims of developing a Drag persona as well as developing other skills in event performance, such as physical comedy, immersive characters and utilising their movement skills to dance with the drag group, The GLITTER HEAT.
Since Graduating, vincent has gone on to perform at Vault Festival, London Queer Fashion Week, Hermes Fashion, Tate Britain, The Silver Building, Latitude Festival, Boomtown Festival, Cirque Le Soir, The Box, Drama Park Lane, Bethnal Green Working Mens Club, Battersea Arts Centre, Dance 4, Curve Theatre & Civilised Mess Events.
